Broncos extend winning streak in home win against Terriers
The Humboldt Broncos are working to finish January off with a bang as they faced Kael Depape and the Yorkton Terriers Friday night at the Elgar Petersen Arena (EPA) to extend their lead to five straight wins.
While the Terriers would strike first, the Broncos, sporting their vintage jerseys in homage to the original 1970/71 team, would be the only ones lighting up the score clock for the rest of the games.
Cage Newans would tie it up to finish off the first period followed by Connor McGrath and Alex Morozoff finding the back of the net in the second for a 3-1 lead heading into the third.
An unassisted goal from Braiden Koran would wrap up the scoring with the Broncos taking the W with a 4-1 win.
