Meadow Lake RCMP have issued a warrant for 36 year-old Brenda Partridge, in relation to an investigation of serious assault, forcible confinement and mail theft.

On Jan. 29, police received a report of a woman in distress at a residence on Third Ave. West in Meadow Lake and located an injured female inside shortly after. The investigation shows she had been threatened and assaulted by multiple people earlier that day, before being forcibly confined. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Further investigation of the residence found a large quantity of mail, leading to a search warrant. The mail is believed to be connected to ongoing investigations into break-ins to mail boxes in the city. The RCMP previously notified the public of this November and January.

Partridge, who’s from Meadow Lake, is charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement and possession of matter stolen from mail. She’s described as approximately 5’8”, around 169 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Meadow Lake RCMP are actively trying to locate and arrest Partridge, as officers continue to investigate these incidents with assistance from the North Battleford General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Services. Anyone with information on her whereabouts, the identity of the other individuals involved in the assault, forcible confinement or the mail thefts can call the Meadow Lake detachment, 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
