Pelican Lake First Nations, Witchekan Lake First Nations, and Tolko celebrate Meadow Lake business venture on February 24, 2022. Tolko leadership including Ken Thorlakson, Tolko Director, and Vice-Presidents Kevin Jewett and Fred Chinn, participated in a pipe ceremony with Chief Peter Bill, Chief Anne Thomas, and Elders and Councillors to bless a business venture that was signed in August 2021.

Recently, members of Pelican Lake and Witchekan Lake First Nations met with Tolko leadership to celebrate Kitaskinaw Enterprises Ltd.
Kitaskinaw was announced last autumn, and is an enterprise that enhances the ability for Pelican Lake and Witchekan Lake First Nations to further their expertise as a logging contractor and develop future business opportunities in sustainable forestry.
