The Melfort Mustangs held their annual banquet to celebrate a successful season.

Mustangs players, supporters and fans came together for a night filled with awards to celebrate the players’ accomplishments individually and as a team.

Head coach and general manager Trevor Blevins told northeastNOW despite the challenges this season, the players have pulled together to build an unrelenting team.

“We feel that we’ve had lots of ups and downs to the season. I think our record could have been better we had some injuries,” Blevins explained. “When we’re healthy or close to healthy here, we’ve been playing some really good hockey in our last 10 games, and we’re continuing to build on that into the postseason.”
