Broncos down but not out as game three loss puts them in need of a W

Apr 9, 2022 | 9:06 AM

The Humboldt Broncos are in a dangerous position now.

After a 1-0 loss in Flin Flon on Friday night at the Whitney Forum, the Green and Gold now sit 0-3 in the best of seven semi-final series against the Flin Flon Bombers.

The Broncos fought back to keep the Bombers at only one with goalie Rayce Ramsay stopping 37 out of 38 shots on the Bronco net. Offensively they couldn’t make any magic from the 33 shots they fired at goalie Cal Schell.

With game four less than 12 hours away, the Broncos will be fighting for their lives tonight in the Whitney Forum and must get the W to take the game back to the Elgar Petersen Arena and keep round two alive.
