On April 2nd, the Meadow Lake Kinsmen Club did our “Day of KINdness” activity by randomly handing out gift cards in local businesses. TheClub purchased $600 of gift cards from ExtraFoods, Co-op and Home Hardware and Sandi’s Poutinerie. The retailers donated additional gift cards as well.
Club members went to ExtraFoods, Co-op Grocery and Home Hardware and handed out the gift cards to random people while they shopped.
Funds and donations from our Safe Ride Home service paid for the Day of KINdness project. It was a simple gesture to say “thanks” to the community for supporting Kinsmen.
