More registrations needed for this year’s SSFA 55+ Games
For the first time in 32 years, Prince Albert will be hosting the SSFA 55+ Games this summer.
The competitions run from June 14-16 with 13 different events on the schedules. Those events include five-bin, contract bridge, cribbage, golf, slo-pitch, poetry and short story writing, Kaiser, pickleball, darts, bank shuffleboard, eight-ball pool, swimming, and track and field.”
Games Manager Felix Casavant said they’re now pushing for as many people to register for the events with the deadline less than 10 days away.
“It’s a real opportunity here for our senior citizens in the Lakeland districts to come out and support these provincial games by entering one of these events and with those events come beautiful banquets, opening and closing ceremonies and it’s all included in their $60 entry fee to the event.”
