Horizon students compete in track and field pre-districts

Local middle and high schoolers competed in track and field events with many moving on to districts.

On May 17, Horizon School Division schools from the northwest competed in Humboldt while northeast schools competed in Watson. Schools from the southern part of the school division competed in Humboldt on May 18.

The top four students competing in the peewee, bantam, intermediate, junior and senior categories are moving on to districts in Saskatoon over the weekend. Winners from that competition will move on to provincials in Regina.

With many Grade 12 students competing for their final year, here are the highlights from their performances.
