Young child injured by falling tree, rushed to hospital

Late Saturday afternoon, a STARS Air Ambulance helicopter was called in to make a landing on Bell’s Beach at Christopher Lake.
STARS has since confirmed to paNOW that the STAR-11 crew was dispatched to the area to care for a patient who was injured by a falling tree.
The patient was transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, arriving at about 5:30 p.m.
Sources at the scene told paNOW the patient is a young child.
