Thursday a.m. power outage covering large part of province resolved

A power outage that affected a large area of the province on Thursday morning in the Duck Lake, Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation Rosthern, and Blaine Lake areas has been resolved.
The outage went as south as Blumenthal, as west as Hafford and as north as Brightholme.
SaskPower did not report the cause of the outage but said it was resolved within an hour at 10:22 a.m.
Rosthern Fire and Rescue reported on their Facebook page there was also a fire on a power pole and an ensuing grass fire on Monday, but said it was unrelated to Thursday’s power outage.
