P.A. and North Battleford continuing to see small levels of COVID in wastewater: study
Prince Albert is experiencing some of the lowest COVID levels the city’s seen over the past couple of months.
That’s according to researchers at the University of Saskatchewan who continue to study wastewater in the community, along with North Battleford and Saskatoon, to determine how prevalent the virus is.
Levels are down roughly 51 per cent from last week. The current volume found in the wastewater is the second smallest recorded in the past 18 weeks.
As for North Battleford, levels jumped up by around 38 per cent from the previous week. Despite this, the viral load is the fourth-lowest recorded in the last 18 weeks.
