RCMP asks for public assistance to help locate missing 14-year-old girl

UPDATE: Saskatchewan RCMP have notified the media that Baxter has been found safe. They thank everyone for their supporting in locating the young girl.

Melfort RCMP have received a report of a missing 14-year-old girl, Seiarra Baxter.

Baxter was last seen at a residence in Brooksby at approximately 12:10 a.m. on July 14. She may have travelled to Melfort, but this has not been confirmed.

She is being described as approximately 5-6 tall and 120 lb. She has long, blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a red hoodie, a black jacket and black shoes with white soles.

If anyone has see Baxter or know where she is, they are being asked to please contact the Melfort RCMP at 306-752-6230. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or on their website.
