LLRIB awarding $150,000 in education scholarships

Lac La Ronge Indian Band is now accepting application as they prepares to distribute $150,000 worth of scholarship for the upcoming school year.

In all, there will be 50 scholarships of $2,500 and another 25 for $1,000. The scholarships are open to Lac La Ronge Indian Band members only.

The $2,500 scholarships are based on post-secondary academic history, financial need and are for those who are registered for classes this fall.

The $1,000 scholarships are for those who have recently graduated high school and are enrolled in a post-secondary program this fall.

Applicants must have an acceptance letter from a post-secondary institution for the 2022-23 academic year. Those who wish to apply can do so at llribedu.ca or by calling 1-306-425-4938 and speaking to the post-secondary department.
