No serious injuries after train collides with combine

No one was seriously injured after a train collided with a combine near Star City last week.

Melfort fire and rescue said they responded to the collision around 6:51 p.m. last Thursday two miles east of Star City.

When crews arrived, they checked the combine and train for any leaking fluids and damage.

Crews then removed a piece of the combine to give enough room for the train to continue on.
