Vehicle thief takes Prince Albert City truck for joyride
Prince Albert police say two officers involved in a stolen vehicle pursuit last Monday afternoon were not seriously hurt when the suspect rammed one of the police vehicles while attempting to flee.
The stolen vehicle, which happened to be a city truck, was brought to a stop near the corner of 28th St. and second avenue west.
Roderick Ballantyne, 27, was arrested without incident and is facing a list of charges including possession of stolen property over $5,000, flight from police, and two counts of assault with a motor vehicle.
Video footage provided to paNOW shows the truck wedged between two police vehicles.
