Drug trafficking charges laid after man on warrant arrested

Members of Prince Albert Police’s Crime Reduction Team arrested a suspected drug trafficker on an outstanding warrant earlier this month.

On Sept. 5 around 4:30 p.m., members arrested the 41-year-old man in the 1200 block of Sixth Avenue West.

The man attempted to flee on a bike but police arrested him nearby.

Officers located 56 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of cash, a digital scale and a cellphone.
