Raiders hope to slow down the Pats in Regina

Oct 12, 2022 | 12:00 PM

The Prince Albert Raiders hit the road Wednesday as they prepare to face Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats.

The Raiders are coming off two straight losses on the road, one a 5-4 overtime decision to Swift Current on Friday, the other a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday.

The Pats, meanwhile have won two of their last three games, including a 4-3 nail-biter against the Broncos on Saturday.

Alexander Suzdalev had two goals for the Pats in that game with Connor Bedard scoring as well with P.A.’s Tanner Howe registering the first goal of the game.

The Raiders will have some fresh skaters on the ice as Carter Anderson, who was acquired in a trade with the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday, is expected to be in the lineup for Wednesday’s game.
