Police responding to ‘serious incident’ on 1200 Block of 12th St W

Prince Albert police are investigating what they are calling a serious incident in the City’s west flat.

The 1200 block of 12th St. W. has been blocked off and there’s yellow tape around a house. The woman who lives at the house, told paNOW her brother was there with his girlfriend, and was stabbed after answering the door.

“When I spoke to his girlfriend, I said did you recognize those two people and she said no. They were dressed all in black and walked away,” she said.

The man’s condition is unknown and the woman was also uncertain. She also revealed her brother had been there babysitting her two young boys.

Police are advising the public to avoid the area and to expect an increased police presence in the area for the rest of the day and into the weekend.

The Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section are on scene, as are patrol officers.
