Dallyn Peekeekoot says farewell to Prince Albert Raiders

A long-time member and fan favourite of the Prince Albert Raiders is leaving the team.

On Monday, the Raiders announced that Dallyn Peekeekoot has decided the leave the club to pursue educational endeavours.

“We thank Dallyn for his time in Prince Albert and wish him all the best moving forward,” the team said in a statement on Facebook.

Peekeekoot has been with the Raiders since the 2020-21 season.

Peekeekoot, who hails from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, was selected by the Raiders in the 10th round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

The centreman played in five games with Prince Albert Mintos during the 2020-21 season, scoring a goal and adding an assist. He was named one of the alternate captains of the Mintos for the season.

Before coming to the Mintos, he spent one season with the Battlefords Barons u15 team.
