Four vying for La Ronge councillor spot

Four residents have been nominated for a byelection to be held in La Ronge on Nov. 30.
Terry Hunt, Marlee Proulx, Robert Pacey, and Jack Senft have all had their names put forward to run in the by-election. This marks the third byelection held in La Ronge following the passing of the late Hugh Watt and the resignation of Colin Ratushniak.
Watt was replaced by Matthew Klassen and Ratushniak was replaced by former Coun. Joe Hordyski, who is now mayor. This byelection is to fill the seat left by Hordyski.
Voting on Nov. 30 will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Town of La Ronge Council Chambers. Advance polls, if required, will be held Nov. 23 from noon to 7 p.m. at the municipal administrative office.
