Hunter Harvest Surveys

Did you know that Hunter Harvest Surveys are an important tool for helping manage wildlife in our province?

That’s why providing accurate information is so important. Your survey helps evaluate the need for changes to seasons and bag limits, as well as where different wildlife management strategies should be considered.

There are three ways to complete your survey:
Online – sign on to your HAL account: saskatchewanhal.ca and select the Hunter Harvest Surveys tab on the left side of the page.

Call – ASPIRA at 1-888-773-8450.
Saskatchewan HAL app: download the SK Hunt & Fish app and log in to complete the survey.

Surveys are open until January 20, 2023, but we encourage you to complete them shortly after your hunt so the details are fresh in your mind.

All 2022-23 hunting season survey windows are now open – except game bird and waterfowl. Harvest surveys for trappers in the Northern and Southern Fur Conservation Areas will open in the spring.
