Fireworks planned in tri-communities for New Year’s Eve celebrations

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is once again hosting a New Year’s Eve Family Dance and Dinner.

The free event will be held Dec. 31 at the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre and it will include a roast beef dinner catered by Cravings Late Night Food, as well as music from Northwind DJ and Karaoke Services.

Dinner is from 7-8 p.m. then entertainment will continue until midnight.

There will also be contests, games, snowmobile rides, marshmallows, and hot chocolate, along with fireworks. No alcohol or drugs will be permitted and youth must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone is welcome.

The Village of Air Ronge will also be hosting its third annual fireworks display at the marina. The event begins at 7 p.m. with hot chocolate served by the Ice Wolves and there will be bonfires to stay warm.

The fireworks begin at 8 p.m. and everyone is also welcome.
