A full moon and a perfect night for the Prince Albert Nordic Ski Club

It was a big night for almost 100 skiers who came to Prince Albert under the aura of a full moon.

The Prince Albert Nordic Ski Club hosted 93 skiers on Jan. 6 for its second night ski of the 2022-23 season.

The event was timed for the full wolf moon and the club said the night didn’t disappoint.

“The conditions were perfect for this gathering. Mild temperatures, trees covered in hoar frost and perfectly groomed trails made for an exceptional evening,” the club said.

Skiers went down on one of two routes for the event, the River Trail and a longer route combining the River/West and Kristy Lake.

The Prince Albert Nordic Ski Club said it will be hosting more fun events this winter and invite all to become members and enjoy all that Nordic ski offers.
