Pierceland RCMP continue to ask for the public’s help to locate Dominic Kahpoonapit, who was first reported missing last month.

RCMP received a report of the missing 20-year-old man on Dec. 13, 2022. Kahpoonapit was last seen on Big Island Cree Territory on Dec. 11, 2022.

“We need people to continue providing any information about where Dominic might be or of any possible sightings, as this may help us bring him home,” Pierceland RCMP Const. Ryan Drozdiak said in a recent Saskatchewan RCMP Facebook posting.

Kahpoonapit is about 5-9, 150 pounds, with brown eyes, and short dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing brown jeans, black and red shoes, and a red pullover.

Pierceland RCMP received multiple reports of potential sightings. Police continue to follow-up on each one of these tips and have been checking locations where Kahpoonapit is known to travel, including the Pierceland area and the Big Island Cree Territory.

Anyone with information on Kahpoonapit’s whereabouts is asked to contact Pierceland RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
