Raiders trade Wiesblatt’s rights to Portland for three picks

The Prince Albert Raiders have traded the rights to forward Ozzy Wiesblatt to the Portland Winterhawks.

In exchange, the team is getting a conditional first round draft pick in 2025 and two conditional second round draft picks in 2026.

Wiesblatt has not played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) this season, instead suiting up for the American Hockey League’s (AHL) San Jose Barracuda. In 17 games, he scored one goal and added four assists.

Wiesblatt was also a first round pick of the San Jose Sharks, being chosen 31st overall in the 2020 draft.
