La Ronge RCMP seeking information about recent assault

On Jan. 16, La Ronge RCMP received a report of an injured person at the local hospital.

According to an RCMP media release, the initial investigation determined the injured person, a 36-year-old male, was dropped off at the hospital.

He received treatment for injuries described as serious, which investigation has determined are the result of an assault.

La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of the Saskatchewan RCMP’s La Ronge General Investigation Section, Saskatoon Provincial General Investigation Section and Prince Albert Forensic Identification Services.

Investigators ask that anyone with information about this assault call the La Ronge RCMP at 306-425-6730. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
