Melfort house deemed ‘total loss’ after fire, no one injured

A Melfort home was completely destroyed after a structure fire late Tuesday night.
Fire crews arrived at 309 Burns Ave. West. at what they described as a “fully involved structure fire,” finding the building totally engulfed in flames.
According to Melfort fire chief Shaun Stewart, the house is a total loss. The fire also caused exterior damage to a neighbouring house.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
