RCMP investigating assault on Montreal Lake

A man is in hospital after allegedly being assaulted on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 30, the RCMP were called to the First Nation and ended up finding a man suffering from serious injuries.

He was transported to an area hospital but his condition is currently unknown.

Not much else is known at this time.
