LANGLEY, BC – The Prince Albert Raiders extended their winning streak to four games on Wednesday night, beating the Vancouver Giants 4-1 at the Langley Events Centre.

The win is also the third on this B.C. road trip after the Raiders won 4-1 in Prince George on Friday and won again last night in Victoria 6-3.

Skylar Bruce had the lone tally for the Giants while Ty Thorpe and Ty Halaburda each collected the assists on the play.

Max Hildebrand was between the pipes for the Raiders, managing 23 saves in the win, helping PA improve to 19-25-3-0 on the campaign.

Jesper Vikman registered an astounding 39 stops in the contest, but Vancouver falls to 18-22-4-2 on the year.

COMPLETE BOX SCORE

The Raiders opened the scoring for the first time on this road trip as Crocker was able to put the puck in the back of the net early.

Vancouver kept battling though and managed to build some momentum which led to them tying the game. Bruce got his first in a Giants uniform midway through the period to tie it at one after the first twenty.

The second period was all Green and Gold as the Raiders both outscored and outshot Vancouver. PA limited the Giants to just three shots in the middle frame while the Raiders tallied a whopping 18. The effort on the offensive end paid off on the man advantage when Sorensen capped off the solo effort for his 17th of the year.

Kosior tallied an insurance marker to double the lead in the final frame before Herman extended his goal streak to three games via an empty net goal as the Raiders took it 4-1.

PA now gets a day’s rest before making a stop in Kamloops to take on the Blazers on Friday night. Puck drop is at 9:00 p.m.
