Alleged carjacker granted bail

A woman charged after a carjacking in Prince Albert last weekend has been released on bail.

Jaylin Daniels, 22, appeared by video when her matter was discussed Thursday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

In accordance with her release, Daniels will have to follow a number of conditions. Those conditions as well as the judge’s reason for releasing Daniels are protected by a publication ban.

The incident happened last Sunday night, outside a business in the 1400 block of 10th Ave. E.

According to a statement provided by police, the victim was threatened by someone with a knife.
