Weekend fire in Midtown under investigation

Substantial damage to a Midtown area home is being reported, but no injuries, following a fire Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 3:06 p.m. the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a home near fifth Ave. and 7 St. East.

On arrival, heavy smoke was showing and crews were able to make a quick interior attack to knock down the fire.

The cause of Sunday’s fire remains under investigation.
