SAMA conducting property assessments over next week in Meadow Lake

From February 9-17, appraisers from the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) will be making property assessments in the City of Meadow Lake.

SAMA will be conducting annual maintenance field inspections in the city to update assessment rolls.

Inspections will be at properties where a change in assessment value may occur, such as properties with new dwellings, garages, sheds, decks, additions, etc., or where there have been removed buildings or assessable structures.

Appraisers will need to do an exterior inspection only to obtain the dimensions/size, class and condition of the structure in question.

If the property owner is not at home, appraisers will leave a door hanger with their attached business card. SAMA appraisers will have proper identification marked on their vehicle and an identification card.
