Northern Bears lose fifth straight in landslide loss to Stars
The Saskatoon Stars gave the Prince Albert Northern Bears a bit of tough love on Tuesday night when they steamrolled P.A. 10-0 at Merlis Belsher Place.
Eleven different Stars players found the scoresheet where Kolbee Ashe paved the way for Saskatoon. She scored a goal and three assists while three others had three-point nights and four more had two.
Tora Ward collected the shutout victory, needing only 11 saves to do so as the Stars improve to a league-best 21-4-1-2.
Annika Neufeldt faced a whopping 54 shots in goal for the Bears where she saved 44 of them where PA falls to 6-18-1-1 on the campaign.
