Feb 15, 2023 | 1:43 PM

RCMP are investigating a discharge of a firearm at a home in Meadow Lake.

According to police, Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a firearm discharged at a home on the 100 block of Clark Crescent in Meadow Lake—shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

No one inside the residence reported any injuries to the RCMP.

Police conducted patrols in the area, but no suspects were located.

The RCMP found multiple holes inside and outside the home, consistent with a shooting. After investigating, police determined the incident may be gang-related.

It was reported a black truck was in the area at the time of the shooting. Police say a black truck was later reported abandoned on 6th Avenue E. in Meadow Lake around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Investigators believe this truck is connected to the Clark Crescent incident.

Anyone with information on the shooting can call the Meadow Lake RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Police are also asking people to check their home-video surveillance of the area from around 10 p.m., Tuesday, which may contain an image of the black truck in question.
