ACT donates $5,000 to Battlefords Minor Softball

The Associated Canadian Travelers (ACT) are showing their support for local sports in the community, donating $5,000 to Battlefords Minor Softball.

President of the Battlefords Minor Softball Association Darren Russell said the donation goes a long way for their program, helping the development of local athletes.

“I can’t thank this group enough, from my opening conversations with Don Dament about the ACT, you can just tell how much they love to support youth sports in our community,” Russell said.

“With their help, we have been able to make some great upgrades to our equipment, which helps build better athletes. They truly are a group that cares about our community”.
