Man facing drug and firearm charges in Meadow Lake seizure
A Meadow Lake man is facing several drug- and firearm-related charges following a search warrant at a home.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team, assisted by Meadow Lake RCMP, executed a search warrant at a home on the 500 block of Second Street West in Meadow Lake, Sunday. Police found and seized about eight grams of methamphetamine, five grams of cocaine and crack-cocaine, two firearms, ammunition, and other weapons.
RCMP arrested a man at the home.
John Arnold, 29, from Meadow Lake, is charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited; possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; unsafe storage of a firearm; possession of a firearm/ammunition while prohibited; trafficking (methamphetamine); and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
