Planned power outage for Air Ronge, La Ronge and other northern communities

A planned outage is scheduled on Thursday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. affecting several northern communities.
According to SaskPower, customers in Air Ronge and La Ronge on the west side of Highways 2 and 102 will be affected, as well as Eagle Point Resort, Fairchild and the La Ronge Airport.
The power outage will include English Bay, Grandmother’s Bay, Missinipe, Nemeiben Lake, Stanley Mission, Sucker River, Wadin Bay and all surrounding rurals.
SaskPower didn’t provide a reason for the planned outage.
