Local paramedics responded to nearly 200 incidents over the long weekend which included two collisions.

According to Parkland Ambulance Services, one collision happened Thursday on Montreal Lake Cree Nation involving a vehicle and three pedestrians.

Paramedics cared for a five-year-old, seven-year-old, and 30-year-old with injuries. They were taken to hospital in good and stable condition.

On Sunday afternoon, another collision happened at 22nd Street and 2 Ave. West in Prince Albert. That collision sent three adults to hospital, where they remain in good and stable condition.

Meanwhile, Parkland Ambulance said with the fast melt of snow, people should make sure it’s cleared to at least six feet away from their home to prevent any flooding. As well, ice surfaces are softening which means you should stay off any ice.
