R.M. of Tisdale, Bjorkdale rescind fire bans

Cooler weather and some rainfall have allowed some northeast rural municipalities to remove their fire bans.

On Tuesday, the RM of Tisdale, along with the RM of Bjorkdale rescinded their fire bans.

The ban for the RM of Tisdale was issued on May 5. The burning of stubble, bales and brush still needs to be reported by contacting the controlled burn line at 1-886-404-4911.

While these communities have lifted their bans, several others remain for the northeast and much of Saskatchewan.
