Tickets are now being sold for a 2007 Suzuki M109R motorcycle, which has been customized as a 2017-18 Broncos Memorial bike.

The Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament Committee has added this, as well as a new 50/50 draw to their fundraising efforts, which will all go to support the Broncos Tribute Campaign.

“This is an exceptional way to carry out the 2017 -2018 Broncos Legacy,” read a statement from the committee.

The motorcycle and accessories (hydraulic hoist) have an approximate value of $16,000, while the potential 50/50 prize value is $250,000.

Only 166,666 50/50 tickets are available and are set at one for $25, 15 for $50, and 25 for $75. Tickets can be bought by email request to Laurie @hbgolfmemorial@gmail.com or Penny @pennyjlee2018@gmail.com.

Meanwhile, the bike is on display and can be viewed at the Humboldt Uniplex. Ticket purchases can also be made online, as 10 for $100, three for $50, or one for $25.

“The Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament Committee thrives to support initiatives that will honour and pay tribute to those who lost their lives, and to those whose lives have been changed forever,” added the online raffle. “The purpose of raffling this custom Broncos Memorial Motorcycle is to bring awareness and to support the Tribute Campaign.”

The draws for the motorcycle and the 50/50 will be made the weekend of the sixth annual 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament taking place on August 11 and 12.

In 2018, Jared Bednar and Brian Munz hosted a 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament to raise funds in honour of the 2017-2018 Humboldt Broncos team and staff.

This inaugural event has led to annual tournaments in Humboldt and has raised funds each year that are distributed in substantial ways to continue the 2017-18 Humboldt Broncos legacy.

“With thousands of media outlets covering the tragedy from every corner of the world, some asked why this tragic event made such a global impact. Psychologists point to the fact that we could all identify with the loss; we could all imagine ourselves being impacted in a similar way,” explained the campaign.
