Parade kicks off PA Exhibition and Summer Fair

It’s show time in Prince Albert as the annual Exhibition gets ready to trot out this year’s events and entertainment.

There will be a lot to take in over the five days of the exhibition, but it all starts with the parade, starting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

Floats and performers will meet and organize and start the parade on Central Avenue and head north until they get to River Street where the parade will turn to the east for six blocks, head north on Sixth Avenue and finish at Exhibition Drive.

A number of musical bands will be onstage at the main hall throughout the Exhibition.

The horses will have the arena every afternoon at 3:00 pm for the chuckwagon and chariot races and the demolition derby goes Saturday at 4:00 pm.

An equine drill team will be in the main ring for two performances on Saturday.

And of course, starting on Aug. 2, the Midway rides will be ready. Tickets and ride bands can be found via the Exhibition office. Early bird ticket sales ended Monday.
