One man arrested after serious assault in Nipawin

A man has been arrested after a serious incident in the Town of Nipawin last Friday.

Just before 5 p.m. that day, Nipawin RCMP received a report of a serious assault.

An investigation determined that a fight broke out between two men at Fourth Street North in Nipawin.

One of the men was taken to hospital for serious injuries.

A 24-year-old man was arrested without incident and later charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
