BATC organizes search party, offers reward in search for missing teen

The Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Inc. (BATC) are offering a reward in the search for a missing teen from Saulteaux First Nation.

The BATC are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to finding 15-year-old Madison Yew.

Yew was last seen on the First Nation at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 5. Since then, a group of about 50 volunteers stepped up to help with the search. They went out on both Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Yew is described as being 5-foot-4 and weighing 130 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey and black long-sleeve shirt and grey jogging pants. She has connections to Edmonton, Meadow Lake and Saskatoon.
