RCMP release suspect sketch in Air Ronge assault investigation

La Ronge RCMP continues to investigate the report of an assault, which happened last weekend on Vickers Crescent in Air Ronge.

Based on information gathered by officers to date, a suspect sketch has been illustrated to help spread awareness of the individual involved in the assault.

On Aug. 19 at approximately 2:30 a.m., police received a report of an assault and an investigation determined an adult man broke into the home and assaulted an adult woman. He then fled on foot.

The victim was treated in hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The suspect is described as being in his mid 20s, approximately 6-2 to 6-3 tall with a medium build. He has dark-coloured hair and dark, bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a black hoodie at the time of the assault.
