Update: RCMP arrest two in Tisdale as part of firearm incident

Two people have been arrested following a firearm incident in Tisdale.

RCMP have been blocking off a portion of the community for several hours after getting a report of an armed person at a home on 104^th Avenue.

Officers ended up arresting two people in the home without incident.

There will continue to be a large police presence in the area as officers execute a search warrant inside the property.

The situation had caused Tisdale Middle and Secondary School to issue a Hold and Secure order, however, the North East School Division said it’s since been lifted.
