RCMP name suspect after serious assault in Montreal Lake

A man facing several charges including robbery and aggravated assault is on the run.

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) and Waskesiu/Montreal Lake Detachment are asking for help locating 30-year-old Michael Roberts.

The charges are in relation to a serious assault that happened in Montreal Lake last October.

Roberts is approximately 6-0 and 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and has the word “love” tattooed on his cheek.

Anyone with information on Roberts’ whereabouts, is encouraged to contact the nearest municipal police service, RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
