Roughriders sign Ferland to two-year contract extension

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Melfort’s own Logan Ferland to a two-year contract extension.

He started all 18 games at right guard during the 2023 season.

The team said Ferland also showed great versatility, shifting from his normal position to right tackle during two games because of injuries. In previous seasons, he also played centre and left guard.

Ferland was also named as the Roughriders’ most outstanding lineman for the second straight season, which nominated him for the award league-wide.
