Humboldt’s Crozon proud of Female Athlete of the Year nomination
Sask Sport has released the finalists for the 2023 Saskatchewan Sport Awards, as Olympians and Paralympians, international and national champions, and coaches and volunteers will all be honoured.
One of the finalists is from the northeast, as Humboldt native Paige Crozon is one of three nominees for the Female Athlete of the Year.
“I was quite shocked when I found out that I’ve been nominated and selected as one of the finalists for the Sask Female Athlete of the Year. I was also really proud because I proudly represent Canada and Saskatchewan when I’m playing on the women’s professional circuit and on the international stage, so I’m very honoured as well,” she told northeastNOW.
The annual program celebrates the success and dedication of those in the province’s amateur sports community through two categories – excellence awards and recognition awards.
