Davidson house fire that killed five deemed ‘non-suspicious:’ RCMP
A house fire in Davidson that killed three children and two seniors on Sunday has been deemed non-suspicious by investigators.
The weekend blaze caused major damage to the home in Davidson, a community halfway between Regina and Saskatoon, torching the roof, shattering windows and leaving pockmarked burns on melted siding.
Mounties said the fire on Ottawa Street happened about noon on Sunday.
They said officers and fire crews pulled an 80-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman from the flaming structure, but the two were pronounced dead in hospital.
