Woman faces charges after assault at a Nipawin business

A 34-year-old woman faces a number of charges after an assault in Nipawin.

RCMP were called to a business on First Street West Feb. 22.

An investigation revealed a woman stole cash from another patron at the business, and a bystander stepped in only to be assaulted.

The bystander did not report injuries to police.

An employee was then assaulted by the woman and sustained serious injuries.
